You now can add customizable fields for your products right in the Sell page of RockPOS without going through PrestaShop Back Office. This is a useful feature if your business is customizable products.
What’s a customization?
This is a function made by PrestaShop which allows your customers to customize products that they purchase. You can set up to help your customers add files or texts for those products. By using RockPOS, your customers can place custom products not only on your online shop but also at your physical stores.
How to enable customizable products in RockPOS?
Follow these steps below to get customizable products active:
1. Enable customizable product in PrestaShop.
In PrestaShop v1.6.x: From Back Office, go to Catalog > Products > Edit a product > Customization > Change value in fields to “1” to enable.
In PrestaShop v1.7.x: From Back Office, go to Catalog > Products > Edit a product > Select tab "Options > Customization > Add a customization field
2. After adding fields, go to the Sell page of RockPOS (Back Office > RockPOS > Sell) to add that product to cart. You’ll see an option to add photo and/or text.
3. Upload photo and/or input text and Save.
Order is able to be completed the order like normal. In PrestaShop Back Office > Orders, you’ll see the order in details with the added photo and text.
